TESTIMONIALS
There are many wonderful stories from the many students taking
Tae Kwon Do and their specific reasons and motivations on why
they started Tae Kwon Do, and continue with the art.
Below is a wonderful example as written by Betsy Dorsett.
From reading her story, you can feel her enthusiasm and realize
the benefits she receives from her continued practice of Tae Kwon Do.
I welcome everyone to come and try Tae Kwon Do, and I hope that
you would experience some of these same benefits for yourself.
Sincerely,
Dong O' Park
Why I Started Tae Kwon Do, and More Importantly,
Why I Still Take Tae Kwon Do
When I started Tae Kwon Do last spring, I saw it as a chance to try a new sport
and at the same time stay, and become more, physically fit. My roommate in high
school (I went to a residential school) had only done Tae Kwon Do
for a couple of years and I was already amazed at her strength, flexibility,
and graceful kicks. She also seemed very focused. I watched her do forms
(which seemed completely alien to me at the time) and was impressed with her
intense concentration.
